The Focus series of machines are optical belt sorters used to sort out discrepancies in a product stream. With a belt width ranging from 600 to 2400mm, the product passes through a lighted inspection cabin where cameras strategically placed at different angles record the product and compute it's results.  As the product reaches the end of the belt it is transferred to an exit chute, where the computer simultaneously uses air valves to remove the unwanted material.  This can be defective product based on it's shape and color, foreign materials that are included in the product or unwanted marks or spots.

Portions of the machine can be segregated to be used in addition to regular sorting such as a double pass for increased accuracy or secondary sorting of rejected material.
